Funny Mega Man did this sorta thing first with Powered Up. Got ignored then Sony ripped it off made a series out of it and people loved it, This image shows something along those lines and people are excited and through all of them just been indifferent. To this is not the ace in the hole they need at E3 but more along the lines of NES Remix.

Never been into creating content but I do like playing what others do. Like little big planet was real fun with its level creator, but I just never had the creativity to make a cool level.

I thought of this concept a year ago. But with a twist.
The game features a towerdefence esque mechanic, and you play as Bowser. Your goal is to stop Mario and Friends to reach the flag. With some coins you'll be able to buy and place platforms, holes, water, lava, enemies etc. When a Mario is death you'll receive more coins so you can update the level. That way the leveldesign evolves. Ofcourse, in the first levels you'll only face the toads, but later on Mario will show up and it will be difficult to stop him reach that flag.

It would be cool if they let us create NSMBW-like levels not the ones with the old look as shown on the picture.

Hm... I'm pretty sure there are programs that already do this? But I look forward to it being real because that means I could make my own levels and download others'. 
Not exactly a system seller, but would be a nice time killer.

Haha I can't get over how creepy Luigi's death stare is in Mario Kart 8. He's envious for being 2 nd place most of his life and only getting a year to shine ! LOVE IT !!! Makes me want to buy the game all the more. I will June 30th.
