Rovio has announced Angry Birds: Transformers, the next entry in its wildly successful franchise.

Information is pretty thin on the ground at this stage, though as has been the case so far the new collaboration between Rovio and Hasbro will result in a mobile title, merchandise and Telepods products, all featuring the so-called "Autobirds" and "Deceptihogs".

No release date is currently known.
