Today I had my first day at work and I had to commute on a coach. i just so happened to have my Wii U with me with MK8, and I just so happened to sit in a seat with a wall socket. I plugged it in, and the coach powered the console, and of course the gamepad had enough battery life to last the 45 minute commute. Needless to say i'm very happy and thought I'd let you know that I presume due to the low power usage of the Wii U the coach wall sockets can handle a Wii U easily, and technically you can play off tv games out and about on long train and coach journeys - so long as there's a wall socket!
The Wii U is actually portable!

I have a converter for my car that allows for portability as well. it's pretty cool.

It's VERY VERY rare that i'll be on a coach with a wall socket :s
But glad to know you're having fun!
Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

.... Thats a amzing idea. Might be a hassle to do always do it, or buy a second Wii U...

I might bring mine to school sometimes next year to play during lunch, if I really feel the need. Kinda feels silly when I already own a 3DS though. Then again, 4 player Smash Bros sounds really enticing, and some of my friends don't own a 3DS...

Might have to do this for longer car rides.
