Who has it? I know not many. I'm trying to get behind it. Anyone want follow or need followers? I mostly but not always post Nintendo related shenanigans.

What's funny about G+ is they hired Kevin Rose to make it better and compete with Twitter. The same man who failed to make Digg compete with reddit and the same man who's Twitter clone Pounce failed as well. No I don't use G+ even tho Google shoves it in my face I don't directly use it. G+ is a stale fart that continues to linger.

Yea I got it. Part of android. But I mainly use Facebook or Instagram.

I have it and I love it, ditched my other networks like Facebook a few months ago. It's a bit weird to get in to, but to me its the best social network out there, beats Facebook in pretty much every way except the friends and family, but people on G+ are usually pretty nice/social, made a few new 'friends'.

Google + , who has it? Almost everyone... even if you don't know it. Got a youtube channel? got gmail? use just about any of googles services... you got a G+ account.

 

The social network aspect is not the goal anymore, but it's being used more now to connect users across all google services and become more unified.

see the problem with G+ is everyone was all hyped up for it, and a bunch of people were planning on switching from Facebok because, let's be honest, G+ is better. That was what Google needed because the way a social network succeeds is by people being able to connect with all their friends/family, etc.

Then Google messed up. They were all "this is the launch date guys." And people were like, ok, let's get hype then they were like "oh never mind guys, this is totally the launch date" ... ok, People start to lose a bit of interest.

Then they were like "We're giving keys. Give the codes to people for beta!"

But it's not a video game, it's a social network. If people go on and realize they have no friends, and can only get a select few to join because they don't have keys or whatever, now you've got a problem.

then "ok, that launch date we mentioned before? Got to be 21+."

Huge mistake, because now you've lost like 70% of people who use facebook's interest. I think that was pretty much GG. I never even heard when they got rid of that age limit because by then no one cared anyway. And since no one cared almost noe one joined. And then the people who did join got there and realized "Oh hey, the few people I do know on this site aren't posting anything because when they were here, there was no on to post it to.. well this is boring." And they left. And it died.

 

At least that's how I remember it. Probably got it a little wrong though, it's been a while.

I've had an Google+ account since the beta version back on 2011.

 

Overall it's golden.

I use it occasionally, it has better video call then skype does imo.

I have 6+ G+ accounts for my various emails and my youtube accounts.  I should actually start using them sometime.
