In the town square they all gather
Hand and hand they sing
Because on yoshi’s island,
The winter holiday season is king
Winter on yoshi’s island is a special time
One they make their prime
Snow is a special occasion
The crowd is full of joy
Because snow is something
Every yoshi can enjoy

Nice to see that your poems aren't as "heavy as normally"
They're could have been a little more "Word play", but it's short and sweet... what more would I want?
