Apart from gameplay, story, mechanics and so on....when I saw the first moving footage I thought that it really looked like the new Zelda artstyle, or at least a mix of Skyward Sword and the Next Zelda. What do you think?

It looks nothing like Zelda. Not one bit and Rime was shown off E3 2013. Just because they are celshaded does not mean they look similar.

Nothing about this game or Zelda relate.

No similarities whatsoever for me beyond 3rd person adventure and a style thats not 'grimdark realistic'.

Definately got more of an ico vibe despite the very different art styles.

I dunno the first vibe I got was zelda, then ico.

You can't say that when most people who played wind waker are immediately reminded of zelda.

 

Of course, if you watch the whole trailer the differences become obvious but you can't say this.

This. Although I have yet to play Ico, so it gives me a more pure exploration/adventure/beauty vibe. If that makes sense at all. Or I'm describing Ico without knowing it.

To me its visual style looks the most like Wind Waker HD.

I felt it was very much in line with Ico but I get the WW vibes. Still the game looks wonderful and the music sounds great, glad to see something without a gun and more color(I like those games but after a while you want something else).

I have a thing for games with feels like this so played a few lol. I love all of these posted so if looking for stuff that falls somewhere along the lines of Ico or Rime.

There are some light similarities with Zelda in terms of the limited color palette. But more of a WW style.

The new Zelda isn't what you'd call cel shaded. It's a new style that looks like a much more detailed delauney raster art style applied everywhere with some of the textures appearing vectorized. Going to look fantastic even up close.

And the effects in the new Zelda steal the show. Animation as well

I really hope people who think this looks like zelda arent expecting it to play like zelda.

Its most likely going to be a pure adventure game, and as such probably wont have any manner of combat.
