So this is exciting. A museum piece quality (Read: Just a hair unter brand new condition) issue of Action Comics #1 hit eBay not that long ago and is already up to $1,750,100 USD. 

 

Can't wait to see how high this goes.

Well it defined an entire culture. Without it there would be no comics industry and no Batman no X-Men none of that. Would even affect gaming as be a very different world now. If you go on Netflix and watch the documentary from PBS it's pretty amazing how Superman and the comic industry almost never happened.

Only comic series I've been buying is StarWars: Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir, and that's because I refuse to let TCW die. I'm only interested in this because it's close to $2mil.

Well that's probably why you're  not really interested. This is possibly the most influential comic f all time. One could argue that comics ould not exist as they do today without the creation of this comic, so it's kind of a big deal to people whoo are into comics.
