We decided that it would be perfect to use as a navigation device, in the same way that a lot of tablet computers are. We’ve put some important features relating to the game system and your objectives onto the GamePad, so I feel that this should create a very user-friendly experience for players.

Nothing earth shattering but for this game i think this is good use. It will prevent even more screen clutter and allow concentration on battles and exploring. A nav system and objectives on the pad are fine with me.

Sounds good. I'd love more reasons to use the gamepad.

naw the joke was that it already has a rainbow ton of stuff on the screen (during combat)

I wonder if we'll be able to decide how much of that stuff goes on the GamePad? That'd be a good idea, because I don't want much stuff getting in the way of my precious.

Oh i know you were joking, I agree it is a bit cluttered especially in battle with all the stats/numbers . I do think the gamepad will help clean up some of this and make it more useful.

Crikey, does this game look less impressive each time that they show it?

Nope. What are you looking at in this thread that makes you think the game doesn't look impressive? You can't be seriously making your comments based off that picture.....it's a low res blurry screen capture that is blown out

True. That picture was only to show the HUD.

Trust me, with a game like this all the tiny details will look amazing in person.
