Uh what exactly is going on here...?
Is that tropical freeze? It looks like return, with the wii actions in the top corner, and DK model doesn't look as high quality as I remember...
Japan is happening.
Second gifs lower quality and are pretty compressed.
DK is as high as you remember.

You never played tropical freeze? It's a gif so the quality is crap.
And for Ryudo's gif, the person is trying to use the vita as an iphone by swiping on the screen at least that's what I took away from it... unless he is molesting the character on screen.

The game can be played with a Wiimote and Nunchuck, and the person capturing the vid was doing so, hence the icons.
It's a great game, hope your birthday is soon.
