Does anyone know if you have version 1 of Disney Infinity that you can use characters from version 2?

No. you can use 1.0 figures with 2.0 figures but only in 2.0 toy box

YES! All of your 1.0 Figures and Power Discs can be brought into the 2.0 Toy Box.

YES! All Marvel and Disney characters from both 1.0 and 2.0 can play together in the 2.0 Toy Box

Yes, but you can only play with them together in the TOY BOX.

Thanks for the answers.  Now for a followup.  1)  Does anyone know the cost of upgrading from ver 1 to ver 2?  Also, once I upgrade to ver 2 are my ver 1 figures now unable to be used?

You can use 1.0 figures in 2.0 toy box but not main missions.

2.0 is a new game so you have to buy starter pack or choose digital download option. You can upgrade for 29.99 I believe to the 2.0 toybox. Use same disney infinity base.
