Can only play Trap Team on TV screen. Would like to play on Gamepad only sometimes - is my software faulty or is this just how it works? (Other games like Mario Kart 8 play on either) Have tried (and failed) to contact game developer Activision for support - can anybody help?

I think off TV play is supported. Not all games do but I think Trap Team should have a setting for this. Did you check around the menu for off tv play? Many games have been using the - (minus) button for switching between this.

This is how it worked in an earlier skylanders game. Hopefully its the same in this one
