Spartan's engine is forked from Trident, but it has diverged significantly. Seems like all of the legacy capabilities are being removed and it is intended to be much more standards compliant. Plus IE11 already has improved security, so we are definitely not dealing with a glamored IE6

IE still ranks below Chrome and FF in security. So if they can bring it up to at least FF levels they should be fine. If they go to Opera then they are in deep water. Opera has gotten bad. At least IE isn't Safari. That lagging POS lol

Huh, just noticed that Microsoft has just discontinued the Work&Play bundle that they had (one year subscription to Office 365 family, Xbox Live, Xbox Music Streaming, 1TB OneDrive Storage, Skype world calling, and free Wifi from select Wifi hotspots; all for "only" $199 but discounted to $149 just before discontinuation).
I wonder if they will be re-releasing this bundle in one form or another for Windows 10, because (providing I can play Steam games on an Xbox One thus making an Xbox useful to me) this would actually be a pretty awesome service.
