E3 2015 isn’t until mid-June, but we do have a tiny bit of news about the expo already.

Nintendo has booked a 299-seat theater for an event at E3 2015. How exactly the room will be used is unknown at this time. One common thought is that it will be used for a roundtable, which would be business as usual for Nintendo.

Nintendo has also secured three booths for E3 2015. These are 4822, 5244 and 5644 in the West Hall.

E3 2015 will run between June 16 and June 18.

I really hope they stick with the directs, nothing quite like grabbing some hot coffee and sitting down in my office chair to watch the E3 direct and feel like I have a front row seat.

At first i thought it was going to hint at Nintendo doing a normal conference instead of a direct this time around.  Appears to be a round table or smaller dev presentation atm.

Why do people want a stage show again? Every year those things suck. Lot's of error. Awkward pauses forced enthusiasm. They are a product of when E3 was only for investors and retail. E3 has since transformed into more a consumer show. So why rely on old formats? Nintendo took E3 into the next era for the better.

 

Tho I guess some people prefer this...
