Whimsical phyics platformer Trine is set to release on Wii U for the first time on March 12 in the US.

The Wii U version - known as the Enchanted Edition - is an improved version of the original Trine released in 2009. It will be available for download on the Nintendo eShop for $15. Developer Frozenbyte confirms it will releasein Europe, but no release window or date is known at this time.

Additionally, the sequel Trine 2 will be available at a discounted price of $10 on the eShop, and any Wii U players who already own the sequel can take advantage of a 20% off discount on Trine: Enchanted Edition.

The Enchanted Edition has also been revealed and launched on other platforms, including the PlayStation 4 and PC.

 

 

Also, Trine 2 owners will received 20 percent discount on Enchanted edition.

Trine 2 the WiiU got as a launch title with all DLC. Trine Enchanted Edition is the first Trine game redone to look as good as 2 and IIRC includes all DLC. That came out on the eShop today.

Who said I'm excited? Just posting something others might find useful. Your just mad the Dreamcast isn't getting Titanfall.

It has  Virtual On/Frame Gride. I'm good.

iirc trine 2 was a success on the wii u so i would be pretty angry if we didn't get the third one
