I kinda hope Mario Maker will be like the ultimate Mario game and they won't have to make any new games, instead releasing them as DLC packs so the game continues to evolve. Of course, the DLC packs would have to introduce new gameplay elements as well as new levels.
Anyway, this looks promising. Can't wait to play this game myself, there's so much potential!

Anyway, this looks promising. Can't wait to play this game myself, there's so much potential!
I don't think we need any more 2D Mario Bros. games for a long time regardless of this game. Unless they can figure out something new they can add to the franchise then they should just leave it alone for a while.
I can't wait for this game though, looks like they have put a lot of stuff in it.

Yeah I think this will be the end for 2D Mario, there's not much else you can really do.

They should make Mario 3D maker next to make your own 3D Mario stages

Yeah I think this will be the end for 2D Mario, there's not much else you can really do.
they'll probably release another in 20 years time just for nostalgia
