With how popular the smash bros ballot is for the wii u is, maybe Nintendo should use it on other gamed they make, I can see it now. The Mario kart ballot to let fans choose who race in the game as dlc or a secret character or better yet a ballot for fans to choose which Pokemon will be next one to get a mega evolution.

The problem is these ballots represent the people voting in the ballots, not the people playing the game. It's not a representative selection.

I have a feeling we're going to get an alright selection from the smash ballot. Those voting will probably have similar tastes to those playing the games, and they don't have to buy it.

The ballot has gotten ridiculously out of hand, just about every studio wants their character in the game. Fat chance.
