There's 9.5 million Wii U owners and only 24 million in software sales. That's 2.5 per Wii U owner. Considering that the system comes with one, sometimes two games, these are pretty abysmal numbers. Throw in that I have 50 retail titles- I'd imagine that most people who post here have at least ten. Of the 9.5 million Wii U owners, it seems that 8.5 million only have the game that it came with and one other title.
Wii U Software Sales & Wii Us sold. How do these numbers work?

the attach rate is actually insanely good for Wii U 1st party games
- Mario Kart 8 -- 5.11 million
- New Super Mario Bros. U -- 4.81 million
- Nintendo Land -- 4.68 million

- Super Smash Bros. Wii U -- 3.65 million

These sales are only for the US though, not the rest of the world like Japan, Europe, and Australia.

Those software numbers are US only. Worldwide I think it's 50+ million whitch is really good. Nintendo systems always do.
