Expect some big news at E3

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed to investors that the company is working on "unannounced" Wii U titles which will see release before April next year.

We already know about certain forthcoming Wii U games, but Nintendo traditionally saves something a little special for E3. Super Mario 3D World was announced and then released in a short space of time, as was Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker last year.

 

Here's what Iwata had to say:

These are the already announced Wii U titles that will be released in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, and there are also unannounced titles that are not listed here. Among these titles, there are games that actively utilise the Wii U GamePad, including several we showed at E3 last year that are considered part of the Wii U GamePad utilisation project led by Mr. Miyamoto.

Metroid seems more like a summer/fall title.

And some also use the gamepad... hmm...

here is my guess. We all should have heard the rumor now that Nintendo is bringing a big remaster to Wii U this year. My guess is either mario sunshine HD... or GASP mario 64 HD. not even sure if 64 is possible but i expect a big remaster to be announced along with some unexpected things. should be cool to see what they do.

I think the only thing that would move consoles would be a beautiful Metroid game, a FPS/Destiny kind of game, Mario Galaxy 3/Super Mario 64 remake.

nintendo delaying one of their most highly anticipated games from one of their biggest franchises couldn't have been a decision they made lightly 

 

logically they must have a strong lineup to compensate for no zelda, but then again it is nintendo...

why on earth would anyone want a mario 64 remaster? we just got it on VC
