90’s Arcade Racer brings back the days of arcade racing games such as Daytona USA, and reminds you of just how many quarters and hours of life you wasted at those arcades. With a clean and polished visual style, 90’s Arcade Racer could end up being one of the most visually pleasing games on the Wii U eShop to date. If the racing is as well crafted as the visuals, Wii U owners should be in for a real treat when 90’s Arcade Racer comes to the console.

Still one of my most hyped games for Wii U. Never get another Daytona USA so look forward to this.

I'm so happy this game is still alive. I will exclusively use the Daytona USA style car, I played that game non stop growing up. 

 

Dang, so many memories flooding my mind right now.

Yes I am glad that it is still alive. it looks very good but hopefully they can ploish it even more. Racing games were probably my favorite as a kid. Would be cool for this, FRN, and project cars to all launch on Wii U this year.

Careful when getting PC. You need to know what you are getting into. PC is not a game you can pop in and race. It's a total sim so like worry about break pressure when turning and minute details and tons of micro managing. If you are expecting a straight up racing game then you are in for a rude awakening. PC never told people what it was and so it's a niche game in a popular genre for people really serious about cars. They kinda messed up there. That's the same if Etrian Odyssey tried to be a mainstream RPG.

 

Project Cars is well crafted but if you are expecting Forza,Driveclub,Need for Speed or anything with Arcade mechanics then not the game for you.

Thanks for the advice. really I just want something new and really there is nothing orr has been nothing like a PC game on a nintendo home console in what??? I would buy all three this year if they release. but still wanting to see if the PC devs care enough and put any effort into the Wii U version if it even still releases. it will probably be a November release like Watch Dogs.

Dayum son I hope they include some great music like the Daytona song, or maybe they could get that song licensed? I can dream, Harold! 

 

Anyway, I'll definitely play the Daytona song on my computer while playing this. Looks really good.

I really liked playing Daytona and Scud Race in the árcades and because of that i have been anticipating this game for a long time.

 

Hope it gets released this year and that it's a hit - so much that will make Sega release Daytona 1/2 and Scud Race on Wii U!
