I think the article is reaching a little bit. When did he ever say brute force? My opinion is the Wii U will be able to run next gen engines... And i would be happy to get the multiplatform next gen titles on my Nintendo console.

There were some nice quotes in that article, however, none of them state that the Wii U will not compete with the other next generation consoles. I'm not quite sure how the writer came to that conclusion.

Seriously, if you wanna bash Nintendo or any gaming company for that matter, than do it right. Dont rearrange words.

Seems pretty standard for most industry media that I've seen.
While I am a Nintendo fan, I also own an Xbox and will buy the systems that put out good games. Of course I will buy Nintendo until they prove their first party titles aren't worthy, which I just don't see happening anytime soon

It would be nice if Nintendo gets all the multiplatform games though so there is less need to purchase another console, which I believe will be the case

Nintendo has been modest about their hardware performance, so I can see where the author of this article is coming from. But I'm pretty frustrated that everyone is getting bit by the "Patcher Bug." There's nothing wrong with making speculations, but making them with so little credible information is just jarring to me.
