For me, it's Nintendo Network. Finally, a standard online service from Nintendo, with DLC and everything, I don't know why it gets me so hyped, but it just does. I seriously can't wait 4 months for E3 2012, I just can't...

For me it is just the fact of a new console. I know I will have fun and enjoy it as I have with all the consoles I've ever own. All the way back from Atari 2600 to PS3. I even enjoy my Apple Pipp!n. Yes Apple tried to enter the gaming market.

3rd Party Support. I can't tell you how many times my heart rate increases when I hear that more and more 3rd parties love the system!

As shallow as this sounds, the HD graphics. It will make sure third parties have no excuses not to port. Coupled with the Nintendo Network and this console will be a beast.

Well it kind of does because so many times I have said gameplay is more important then graphics but skyward swords bluriness and lack of AA was hard too look at. Plus some of the third parties think graphics > gameplay. I'm just saying the HD graphics will put Nintendo at least on par with competitors and the Wii U should get ports.I wouldn't say it sounds shallow.

Hmmm, prolly the games.
Don't care a lot for the hardware tbh, and not getting hyped because will wait 6-12 months to get the Wii U, if at all

graphics.... we kinda know nintendo excels at story and gameplay. i want to see nintendo 1st party games next gen compete in the graphics and presentation category. from nintendo i would love to see a modern day SNES. they had the best of everything. rumors prior to E3 last year stated nintend owanted to gain the hardcore back.

Just the fact that Nintendo will once again be a big player in the game industry. I've sorely missed the days of the GameCube when, even if Nintendo fans were disrespected and our console was dead last, we still could quite proudly say we were at least on par with the PS2 and Xbox. As much as I was hyped for the Wii, it just kind of turned out to be a bit of a dissapointment. I see where Nintendo was going with it, but it was so radically different to the competition that some of us just had no choice but to do most of our gaming on a rival platform rather than on Nintendo's consoles. Now with Nintendo finally catching up with next-gen HD graphics, a practical and innovative controller, and a (Probably) awesome online network, I can finally call myself a "Nintendo gamer" again.
