Not much related to the Vita itself, but the replies on the IGN review.. Kind of sad.

There are some interesting titles (soccer, marvel vs capcon) but like I posted somewhere before: I won't buy a second handheld. Don't have the money and even if I did, it's seems a bit overdone. It's good to see the another handheld in the market though, it seems like a quality product. Way too expensive (and yea, all those smartphones and Apple stuff is way overpriced aswell) for a handheld machine, atleast for what it is worth to me.

That's the thing for me. I already have the 3DS, and not enough games on the Vita truly interest me. I just figured I'd share their reviews with you guys.

...although, I am surprised with their scores on Uncharted/Modnation Racers...doesn't IGN normally rag on games of this type for not having online?

I could say the Vita had a better launch line up than the N3DS, I kinda expected the Uncharted:Golden Abyss not being as good as the other Uncharted games mainly because Naughty Dog didn't work on it themselves.

I dont have any handheld and looking at Sony and Nintendo's track record I am going to wait for a light version.ONE WITH DUAL THUMBSTICKS NINTENDO.But yeah the lauch in pretty good,I would've like to see more unique experiences that I couldn't get on a ps3 but yeah it's fine

Remember guys, these are just the scores by IGN(orant), for non-biased scores I'd go somewhere else like GameInformer or Metacritic. IGN tends to gloss over most of the flaws in Sony's and Microsoft's games.

Tell me about it. Last I checked, a racer/shoot-em-up without online these days is awful, but no, if Sony does it, the game's AMAZING.

...heck, even the 3DS has a TPS/Racer with great online already...for cheaper. o_o

Which surprises me, considering the camera is actually worse than the 3DS's, and they actually said they hated the menu interface.

And coming from a website that's generally biased against Nintendo, it doesn't mean alot to me that the 3DS scored lower than the Vita.

This is wrong, too. Doesn't matter how many articles are around that say Nintendo is doomed, they still make good reviews to Nintendo games, so you can't say they are completely biased towards Nintendo.

Actually, they are, even if only somewhat.

They gave Kirby's Return to Dreamland a 7.5 ONLY on the grounds that it was similar to other Kirby titles. And what did they give CoD MW3/Black Ops? 9s. Completely biased? No. Rather biased? Yes. I'm still waiting on my "Vita is doomed" articles, which haven't surfaced yet.

Well you can't spell Ignorant without IGN.......

As for the Microsoft games, they're kinda middle of the road. Halo's good, and deserves the scores they get, but most of Xbox's games are Multiplats.

To be fair, Unchartered is more about the story and action, as for the gameplay mechanics... "If it ain't broken don't try to fix it" Mario Kart hardly varies at all nowdays aside from minor refinements and one shot gimmicks that don't get reused in later games, but just like Unchartered it gets great scores, even IGN doesn't give them bad ratings.
