I'm not usually a person who cares for this sales data stuff. I got linked this and thought it was interesting. I can't tell whether having a Vita is a super asset to the PS4, or whether something big got announced for Vita in Japan recently.

Probably becouse of remote play for ps4 since the ps4/vita numbers are close, also it actually didn't. If you combine the 3ds and 3ds LL sales the 3ds still sold more. I dunno why they split them tbh as they probably combine the Vita and Vita slim numbers. Sorry for my bad english btw ;P

Just saw that Vita TV was also on the list, and still doesn't outsold 3ds.

Ah, true. But it is a vicious increase from previous weeks I believe. I honestly don't think Remote Play is the factor that caused it. Probably a few must have Japan-Only Vita games happened, or Dancing All Night is actually a hype wagon.
EDIT: Even after the combine, it's not that much of a margin, with only 3k units tops. The previous week was something like a 15k difference plus. I'd say that everyone who is anyone has a 3DS, but the amount that Vita spikes up to might suggest otherwise.

Vita is a handheld that needs more love, if it can get more developers to move on from the PSP it would probably start picking up. 3DS software lineup is just insane 
, it won't fall behind for long.
