So the title is kind of vague but since it's February and I'm getting old I'd just thought I post a moment that I quite vividly remember but totally forgot all the actual important details. Hoping you guys post some too.

So I'm not exactly sure how old I was, but I was pretty young, in the range where girls were just terrible human beings stage of childhood and whatnot. Though then again we moved around a lot so I had a hard time making friends but I remember that we lived in this small town in a even smaller neighbourhood where I befriended one of them and really it gets kind of foggy from there, I remember playing board games with her in her basement and eating cookies with her on front lawn in the summer, but for some really sappy reason the moment I remember the most was the night I had to move and I was too afraid to leave from underneath the table in the Uhaul truck because she was crying outside and her father was asking me to come out and say goodbye. Man I remember eventually coming out and just shaking her hand because I wasn't really the type of kid to hug and even shaking her hand was kind of just kind uncomfortable.
I'm also not to good around crying people, even today but yeah.
The things I don't remember though was her name. Just her face and what her house looked like. So yeah, just sort of a little story from my childhood I remember.
Post yours if you have any. Well that's a given unless you skipped childhood somehow... I'm terrible with closers....

Legoland is a pretty terrible park if you are over 9. Going to Legoland is fine at age two though.

I remember once when I broke my leg because one of my cousins jumped on it on a trampoline, and I started to crawl home which was not far away.
But my father came and carried me instead.

My childhood is a bit of a pickle, which pretty much shaped who I am, today.
To be honest, I had a normal childhood to an extent. But most of the things about my childhood was caused by one person.

Back in 2001, I was around six or seven, I met this girl (my age, as well) at the mall. I actually knew her since she lived only a few blocks from my house, but I never really did talk to her or anything until I saw her at the mall. She was wanting a cookie and didn't have any money to buy one, so she just kept staring at the cookies. I had three cookies, so I walked up to her and gave her one of mine. (cute, huh? xD) Long story short, we bonded right on that point.

Years went by, normally. She was home-schooled because her parents did not want to send her to the school that I went to. I can't blame 'em, my school was horrible with the bratty kids and what-not. She was always into anime, manga, and Internet things, and she was the one that first exposed me to it all. Without her, I'd probably never know about anime and manga, or anything. I'd probably be into the Xbox or junk if I hadn't met her; she was HUGE into Nintendo.

The game we played most was Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Gamecube. GREAT memories on that game.

But anyway, I never did ask her out until the first day of school of my sixth grade year. I started having feelings for her around the middle of 4th grade, but I was too "nervous" to actually ask her out, oddly.

We actually went out and were officially "couples." And I'll be honest, she was a perfect match for me, almost too perfect. xD

But that ended rather quickly three months later, which was November of 2006. She passed away from a car accident, which I still blame myself since I could've been there to stop it. But y'know, I chose to do homework and let her be by herself that night to do whatever.

And that's how I was exposed to the greatest fear of my life, even to this day; death. As a kid, I always thought of death as something you'd see in the movies, but it was not the same once I actually felt that horrible pain of losing her, and of which I still feel that pain.

Which is why I now have PGD, (complicated grief for short), which is totally ironic, because I always pictured my future happy, bright, and with her.

But anyway, I'm not gonna drag it all out, but I'll admit that I wish I could go back to those days where I didn't know half the stuff I know now. But it is what it is, so whatever.

TL; DR - My childhood is incomplete.

This sounds like any platformer game.

When I was little, it was all about getting to the goal.

Now, it's all about everything that isn't the goal. Like the timed jumping, hidden goodies, how to attack enemies etc.

This is why I will never finish SM3DL.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Most of my childhood is either a void, a blur, or incomplete memories. It most likely has to do with my seizure disorder, all the medication I take, and some irrational childhood fear of death.
I never experienced a death around me, but somehow the idea got into my mind and I would fear for my life, worrying that I could die any second. Anyways, I got into a funk for more than a year, never looking for outside help and always kept it to myself. When I finally got out, I was socially awkward and it took me until 7th grade to rebuild myself. I faced the fears I cast away and began my journey into the abyss. I don't know whether I am out or not, but the experience helped me gain the ability to think for myself.
Now I am a mighty sorcerer who can even bring forth demons from the multiverse.

I remember a lot of my childhood. Some were good memories, but there definitely were times where I had bad memories. They might be bad, but I remember I learned a lot from them later on. A lot of my childhood memories involve me struggling in math (around 4th or 5th grade) or things that happened in school or hanging out with friends. A lot of them also revolve around a longtime friend I still have. I don't forget a lot though, but I don't remember much of my very early toddler memories. But that's normal I suppose. I wouldn't even say my childhood is completely gone yet. I still have 2 more years of high school and college.

OK, my main part of this post is kinda off-topic, but I'll add a on-topic post to this, don't worry. :P

What I've noticed is that when you remember stuff that you don't remember too well, it's always sad stuff. This could be someone's death, or something as simple as twisting your ankle. Well, maybe not the last part, but still...

On-topic: I remember being lost in a parking lot and talking to strangers.... I was in pre-school.

Well, I've gone through a breakthrough. My memories are affected by my meds and computer interaction. I can't recall things immediately unless I trigger one memory and the rest begin to reveal themselves.
I remember some of my childhood friends. We used to always play around with bionicles and whenever a new set came out, one of them got them and I got to see it.
Another one of my friends had what seemed like hundreds of toys. I remember that whenever I went to his house, I would find a small music player that only played All Star by Smash Mouth. It was always hard to find because my friend hated that song and I would find it just to make him listen to it.

When I was like 2 I used to bathe in the sink and I clonked my head off the wall once. It came up in a great big red lump and I didn't cry a bit XD.

Okay I know this is a very weird memory but... I clearly remember sitting at the kitchen table with my older brother when I was 4 years old and I was pulling a Ramen noodle out of my soup. I remember having to stand all the way up in my chair to pull it out. It was the longest noodle I ever got from meh ramen noodles.
