Ok guys The game developers conference (GDC 2012) starts this Monday the 5th through Friday the 9th. If all goes as plan we should see and learn a lot more about the Wii U and mainly the power of the console. Multiple reports state companies will show there graphics engines running on the Wii U. Guys I'm so excited I hope you are let's gear up this is what we have been waiting for. We got to see Zelda HD demo running on Wii U and the Japanese garden demo. But now we might get to see a engine running on the final dev kits! Sorry I'm ranting a bit but I'm truly excited.
P.S. in other news ubisoft confirmed assassin creed 3 today coming to wii u no launch date but set in the American revolution. Depending what else is available at launch I might get that. I'm only going to have enough money for the console and two launch games.

Very exciting news. I would love to see the full potential of the Wii U that soon. Given what we have seen so far has been exceptionally good, I imagine Nintendo is going to blow us away with the final Wii U dev kits (blow us very far away, like off the planet into another dimension).

It's possible but right now I'm not getting my hopes to high on the graphical capabilities. Don't want to be let down with final product.
Ok guys an update... Ubisoft will reveal first trailer and confirm release date on Monday the 5th. Will the wii u version be enhanced built from ground up? I'm a little worried companies don't have there next gen engines ready for what wii u can handle. So graphics will look similar to ps360 versions.

I'd rather learn more about some actual games coming up,maybe a bit more info on the online system and a wii U app store will seal the deal for my purchase

Well it's already a sealed deal for me. As long as I can download GameCube games I'm fine. I don't play games on line... It's just not my thing. And in my opinion about 90% of apps I've seen on apps world, i store, and android market are meaningless.

Heck, yeah, I'm excited! I expect plenty of new things to admire about the Wii U, as well as more launch title confirmation (though that might wait until E3).

go to google and type in gdc 2012 live stream. most people presenting there have live streams... but to many to post all the links.

We already new AC 3 would be on the Wii U. Since it comes out on Xbox on Oct. 30th, Which will roughly be a few weeks before the Wii U comes out it could be a launch game.
P.S I will get 2 Launch games at MINIMUM. If there is alot of good ones I will spend like $500 on my credit card and put myself in debt on purpose lol.

i feel you. im going to get two launch games also. i really hope they bring the goods for launch. im talking games built from the ground up or really ENHANCED version of games available for ps360. i want to see a huge graphical bump from what is available on ps3.

can't wait to hear how this console will play like... my only concern is that we won't be able to 'slash away' with that tabletcontroller like we did with the wii-mote...
maybe we can view the conference on the nintendo-site itself? it worked great last E3 for me...

True but multiple sources say they will show there engines on wii u maybe behind doors. Also ubisoft is unveiling ac3 on Monday which we know is headed to wii u.
