"Nintendo Gamer magazine is under the impression that Bioshock creator Ken Levine is making a game for Wii U. The magazine assumes it’s Bioshock Infinite, which would make a lot of sense given that the game launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year. Levine hasn’t announced anything for Wii U, but let’s hope that he does."

I hope this is true!

It also works good because Bioshock Infinite is releasing in October so it would be perfect timing to release it as a Wii U launch title.

Kevin Levine is one guy in particular who is really excited about the Wii U. He mentioned that he had always wanted to play a hardcore console title in his room without disturbing his wife during bedtime. The Wii U does that perfectly for him.

You never know, Nintendo might have decided to step in and use some form of... "persuasion" to get him to bring it to Wii U.
But seriously, It's entirely likely. Wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo is shelling out some big bucks to bring the hardcore back to their systems.

Anyways I do want Infinite out for the Wii U BioShock is an awesome game (not so much BioShock 2).  I do think it will happen, but I think it's a case of how well 3rd party games are received from the consumer.  There would be no point developing a game for a system if it is not going to get bought by the general public, which has been the problem third parties have had in the past with Nintendo systems.
