First on the Wii they had not much variety for face shape, hair styles, etc. They had spheres for hands/arms.
The 3DS came with additional mii features and actually had arm polygons.
With the Wii U capabilities how do you think miis will be designed?

That would be unlikely, but it did give me an idea.
In metal gear solid for 3ds you could change snakes clothes with the camera by using a pattern. You could make a pattern on the clothes with that

I would be completely happy if they left Miis the way they are, but let us include hats as an actual part of the Mii. Playing as Beehive Wig Squish in games would be beyond amazingly great. I wish I could take pictures of my Mii wearing a hat with my 3DS.

Well actually I would like something more than just the hats. I think some outfits would be cool, but there would have to be more than just regular everyday clothes. I would want some long flowy colourful robes. And I want accessories like gem necklaces and rings and flowers for your hair. I like gems.

The xbox avatars have perfect features just except the face features there f'in scary.

While I am for the clothes idea I am not willing to spend money on buying clothes for a virtual character. Having said that I'm hopeful that you will be able to unlock clothing through doing certain achievements throughout the game (much like the Avatar rewards on Xbox 360)

Honestly, the big thing it's missing is more hairstyles. Everytime I've made a mii so far, I can position my face features just right, but just can't tolerate not having MY hairstyle. I always have to settle for second best. Right now I have a simple short cut. On my mii, I either have to go with a 2 inch long crew cut, or a buzz cut with hair so short I'd see my scalp if the graphics were better. More hairstyles, possibly even a 'custom' option. That HAS to change.
