Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all have a policy that they won't let games with the AO (Adults Only) rating on there systems. If the content of the game is as questionable as I've heard it is, and it has yet to be rated, I wouldn't touch it either if I was in their position. If the game was given a rating of M or bellow, The Big Three would be far more willing to allow it on there systems.

It's been on PC for years.
There's nothing bad in it.

AO is reserved for like, super depravity, no game should be rated AO.

That's because Steam (and the internet in general) is unrated. Your game can be worthy of any rating you want it to be on the internet/Steam.

What's because of what?
I just stated it's not been rated, but it's been reviewed millions of times and nobody says it has anything AO-worthy in it.

Doesn't really matter. If the ESRB doesn't rate it, then it doesn't go on major consoles, and that's generally the rule. And I'm sure with the money he's made from other games, the "few thousand bucks" to have the game rated is a drop in the bucket.

Excuse me if I'm incorrect in saying this, but I've heard that in one part of the game that you have to kill your mom, then crawl inside her and kill her heart. I'm also under the impression that one of the enemies in the game is a walking female groin. Even if I am mislead in this, it still doesn't matter. As GameCollector has said, no rating, no playing. This is the studio that made Super Meat Boy. They can afford to have it rated.

Yeah, let's play Modern Warfare where we kill millions of people at an airport.

I never said bucks :( don't mis-represent my nationality! :P

Ratings come after publishing documents/contracts are signed. Relax bro. You be too silly.

Yet it's on Steam and still not ESRB rated.

To end this little tizzy, let's look at it this way. The possible backlash from putting the game on eShop doesn't outweigh the potential profits it could have, and those that really want to play the perverted thing can just download it on Steam.

I still ain't understanding why you think getting rated is a big deal though.
The way you say it is like the developer is afraid of the ratings board and is going out of his way not to have it rated.

And "perverted thing" :| It's just a game where you kill things.

Not many games actually recieved this rating, the games that recieved the rating were on the PC.

Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have a policy that the game needs to be rated first before it can be allowed on the system. Apparently the game wasn't rated at all so they couldn't allow it on the system.

Playboy 2005 PS2 was AO. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas had an AO version. My friend has Sextown for PS3 or something which is AO.

Grand theft auto San Andreas recieved the AO rating after there was a hack that revealed a interactive sex scene.Rockstar stop production of that version of the game and later released a version with the scene removed.
I have no info on a game called sextown.

Ok Sextown isn't sold everywhere. It's a fail game.

But thats what we need! AO's, bazillion of AO's lol... after all MANY good games are AO's and what peggy or any rating company do, if the games are violent or sexual content (romance, etc), they release the game with a low age rating, so EVERYBODY will buy it, as the rumors are already out, and after a 6 months or a year of period, they change the rating to AO.. lol.. we know their system, and its not working.. So yes, consoles if they want to be hardcore gaming machines, they need lots of AO's even if they rated lower to make good sales.. (dragon age series, skyrim, oblivion, mass effect, GTA, etc) Even sims are AO's (with one small patch, they turn into porno)..

I mean, even "milo" (something like that, the xbox360 interactive game) should be AO.. lol guess why.. lol hahahaha And I think they canceled it, because of pe#$iles.. (never bought kinect after all, but a small search on google, it shows that microsoft canceled milo project).. lol But I do remember the pranks we did when microsoft announced that.. in forums.

My point is, its not games fault if its designed for hardcore gamers and mature..or incredible AI system, its the user that plays the game... And makes it AO (even if it isnt)... sims, milo, etc.. And we need AO's, mature intelligent games, complex, etc.. Or else gaming industry will fail, static...No need to see 720 or ps4...

For example, if nintendo decides to remove all hardcore scenes or blood or violence, or romance from a game, nobody will buy it! Customers will choose the system that gives it all, all the fun of it. Its unavoidable. Nintendo generation after all, is mature after all..
