Seems awesome and yes, they are better than the weird Xbox ones.
If they look like this I see Miitropolis possible. They look less creepy than Xbox and they have clothes.
Do any of you think this would be a good style for Miis on WiiU?

I honestly think that is just the right number of polygon sides... maybe a liiiiittle bit too many. Because , sure lower poly characters in high res games seems out of place, but Miis are only used in cartoony games. Miis are meant to be cartoony, and honestly PSHome and XBL Avatars look at little... creepy in my opinion. I WANT a cartoony, simple edged character for myself. Plus games could up res the hair and stuff if it really looks bad, but it wont. The blocky hair looks good in a cartoon context... and remember low polys does NOT mean low resolution. Shading and edges will be smooth and detailed, just the overall design will be simple.
I also like the idea of more detailed clothing, but considering the 3DS is supposed to work with the WiiU it probably will not do that.
