^Hm, I don't know. I really think they want to save it for E3. IF it will come. No-one said it would, it was just a rumour... If they are not going to call it Wii Something, then I also think they should revamp the looks.

The 26th would be a great time to announce a name change. It'll generate some more hype in the time leading up to E3, maybe even sway the opinions of some PS3/360 owners who are skeptical about buying a console with the Wii name on it. Remember, the Revolution name change to Wii was announced around this time in 2006 too.

Bring it on, April 26th. Though I think, if there will be a name-change (like with Revolution) it will be E3 because they said that's when the 'definitive version' will be shown.

its quite possible they will reveal the name change before E3 so that when E3 comes, the name change will not be the focus, rather the actual features and games. its the kind of thing nintendo might think about, just a thought

Yeah we'll see, Wii name was revealed at the same event too.

I don't think Nintendo would abandon the Wii brand. I'd rather think it is going to be Wii 2 or something, even though I still prefer Stream the most. The thing is, if they aren't going to call it Wii Something, I think they should redesign it completely because the Wii U really has the Wii style (off course).
No sig.
