My mind instantly jumps to SSB4 whenever I see "Wii U/3DS cross platform", but it has to be something bigger than that since SSB4 has already been confirmed. Whatever it is, I hope we hear soon.

Well, hope this NDA ends before the game is revealed because otherwise this is a bit pointless. Who the heck is Paul G. anyway?

I'm thinking, you know, the new Mario Platformer (Super Mario 4) might be crossplatform but I think not, because the 3DS version will obviously focus more on using 3D.

I don't know, Mario isn't the best title to show off cross-platform play unless they're two very different games people will think it's the same game on both consoles.
I'm thinking Mario 4 on 3ds and Nsmbm on wiiu for Christmas with no cross-play.

The cross-play might be retro's new game?

I guess to me, announcing you have an announcement isn't that exciting and I kinda hate it when 'journalists' do it.

Here, I'll make one too and you guys let me know if you're excited for my big announcement and I'll even give you an exact date unlike this Paul guy: I have really big and exciting news to tell you guys about the Wii-U and I'll tell you it on June 6th.

He's the same guy who brought us the Retro rumour, which has pretty much been confirmed by the sheer amount of new hires they've been going through.
If you believed that rumour, why not this one?

I think it's worth giving attention to this one under the whole "on par with 360, less capable than 360, activision have no plans, nintendo am doomed" crapfestival of late the media has been spewing at us.

Pokemon? I will fit. Catch different Pokemon on console and handheld. HD visuals on Wii U, sprites on 3DS.

I'm with you, SSB4 is already confirmed for the cross platform so it's gotta be something else. We already got news Monster Hunter 4 is coming to the 3DS, perhaps the Wii-U will get it too and it'll have cross platform functionality? That would definitely be my dream come true.

Never heard of this dude before. If he isnt talking about Smash Bros then I have no idea what it could be...New Pokemon game? Like Pokemon Stadium was on N64, Collosium was on Gamecube and Battle Revelation was on Wii? Time for the next one maybe but with 3DS also working in some way like how you could transper pokemon from your Gameboy pokemon games to the Pokemon Stadium games...

I agree it could very well be Monster Hunter 4. Although I can think of nothing that would be more of a crowd pleaser than a cross platform Pokemon game, the first Pokemon RPG to hit consoles.
