This patent showcases a new form of controller form Sony. Hmm...certainly interesting. Thoughts?

Not going to give my opinion on this one because it could work well but then what's wrong with Sixaxis and a streeing wheel?

They probably didn't want anyone to take the idea first.

Patent away my friends.

Not really, it's just a patent. It's to cover any tracks if this product ever hits the market.

Well that's... Unique. Could be fun for games about awesome bikers and stuff. Other than that... Pointless lol.

Looks like a controller add-on peripheral for Gran Turismo 5 or other races. Maybe a spaceship game or something. It looks like a steering wheel pretty much.

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

HAHAHAHA! This controller made me laugh. It could be a good controller and it doesn't necessarily look bad. It's just funny. It looks kind of like a futuristic bow that shoots laser beams.

PlayStation Lifestyle is comparing it to a Forza controller that had limited success.
Spoiler

by the looks of the Sony controller it looks like it can go from a F1 steering wheel shape to motorcycle handlebars.

You know, I thought the PS3 controller had Siaxis in it...which could be used for a steering wheel...

But hey, I'm not the one with the billion-dollar company. :P

Of course it would be interesting to see. Then again alot of patents dont see the light of day.

Interesting set up, maybe it could lead to a controller that can switch from traditional to motion control.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

Some driver messes up and makes himself and you crash, so your player gets out of the car and you grab the controller by the move controller(the middle) and you start punching him.

I think they are tying to compete with Nintendo by controller size.
