Co-Leader of the A.D.P.F
Lose yourself in battle, and rejoice
After War there is Death ~ Goddess Palutena, victory is ours
Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

Also, kinda off topic, but I'd recommend Sony's official PS3 headset (Not the Bluetooth one.).
It's called, 'Sony Wireless Stereo Headset'.
I'd only recommend it if you're willing to pay a hundred dollars though.

Considering that high end console gaming headsets (for consoles they're high end lol) have a digital mixer that take either coaxial or spidf inputs, does this mean my wish for the Wii U to have a dedicared digital audio out will become true? They make audio headsets for XBL, and PS3, they're just expanding into the next gen systems.
If people really wanted a stereo headset/phones for gaming they should just get a decent stereo headset ($50 ish) and then buy RCA female to 3.5mm female. I used to do this for ages, before I got my A40s since I never knew such a thing existed.I'm assuming audio, but a visual headset is probably possible for the Wii U.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

Yeah that is true the controller does have a mic but at this moment were not sure how many can be used on the Wii U so this might be used for the users who are using WiimotesI don't see why you'll need an extra mic when there's one in the controller.

What are you even basing your words on?
It might have optical, but I doubt anything else.
