I Like sony and nintendo alot . Also sony doesnt really steal from nintendo they are just kindoff inspired by them sometimes , and nintendo does the same with other companys too.in Every industry companys are inspired by each other

Sony and Nintendo do there own things, and like hardcoreUfan said, sony gets inspired by some of Nintendo and external companies while Nintendo can also be inspired from outside sources.

For me, it's a Love/Hate relationship with Sony. And the love is not even that much, but with games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, they amaze me, but when they get cocky and use the "Bad Boy" attitude it makes me want to throw my PlayStation 2 out the window.

Its a "love-hate relationship" for me too.......
By that i mean i love Nintendo, and i am slowly beginning to hate Sony.
I can tell just by seeing their games , consoles ,& services that Sony doesn't give a rat's ass about the gaming industry. They don't care where they take it, if it continues to be an art, or if it fails miserably because they just want "games that kickass"... and money. What i'm saying is Sony tries to extend the gaming industry..... as if its an industry (online passes & possible disk locking, constant retail partnerships, an easily abused stream of DLC, movie-games). They are... not what i want the industry & art to go towards, and not something i want to support anymore. Nintendo just keeps on truckin' with well made, creative games that deliver what i want. They further gaming as an art, more than as an industry... which is what i want. NOT EVERYONE wants that and i understand. But Sony is extending the gaming industry further than i think it can go right now. They say that they use onlinepasses because they lose thousands of dollars in used games sales.... Well then maybe they should make games that people WONT WANT TO TRADE!!! And if these people will trade perfectly good games that they will want to play in the future... then they are not a good market, they are outside the stable gaming market. Sony wants to get these people to buy their product, while Nintendo has branched out to people who enjoy the details in a videogame, but didn't play before because of a control & marketing barrier. I feel this is a pressing matter and if Nintendo dies.... gaming will live in the Indie developers. This is important to me... and that is why i hate Sony.

... Microsoft is a little fishy... im not gonna yell at them, but i'm keepin' my eye on 'em.

I think Nintendo is better than Sony. Then again, I don't think my opinion on this has any credibility being a Ninty sheep fan. Anyway, I tried the search; I got the same results as above.

Unfortunately for past few years Nintendo fan = Sony hater, which irritated me a bit because I like Sony, I prefer PS3 over 360 and I like Microsoft too but just not their consoles. At the end of the day I get to enjoy the games I want to play and the people with only one console will lie to themselves about not wanting to play the other titles.

same. i still play on my ps1 some times.

i don't mind Sony, in fact more competition is better for everyone, but sometimes i get irritated by Sony, and sometimes i have to put my opinions down, which allways ends up in a argument.

I like all three (well 4 if you count PC/Steam/Valve) but I'm slightly biased to Nintendo and PC.


My take on Nintendo and sony?
I prefer Nintendo - even though they're online isn't as good, they still are more secure *hinthint* and I prefer their games

Although, I have wished to own a PS3 with certain games a few times, I still prefer Ninty.

I do hope that Sony keeps existing though. I like their take on games and competition is always good

I personally think Nintendo makes higher quality games and home consoles than Sony. The hardware part is completely based on my own experiences though. My brother's PS2 broke from one fall while my N64 and GCN are still fine from multiple falls and being banged around. Fortunately, I haven't had the privilege of dropping my Wii. My friends Xboxes and PS3s have experienced the RROD/YLOD while their Wiis are still running fine. Of course, this is just my own experiences.

I like them both equally simply because I grew up with a SNES and PS1 and therefore I have a deep fascination for both companies. They provide excellent franchises that keep us entertained (Mario, Zelda, DK --> Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, LittleBigPlanet, Crash Bandicoot) and personally have quite the history when it comes to making quality consoles.

I just hate Microsoft lol. Don't really know why (Halo and Gears probably have something to do with that), but I never got into the XBOX craze.

I'm not a fan of console wars, but that did make me laugh. I prefer Nintendo to their rivals, but I don't consider myself to be a fanboy and if I could afford it I'd own all of the consoles produced by Nintendo and Sony.
