Any ideas on how they would do this? Suggestions for the developers?

I didn't really think about this game but man.... Splinter Cell would be a perfect launch title for the Wii U. Picking locks, your spy gadgets... All on the second screen!
Any ideas on how they would do this? Suggestions for the developers?
Funny, I said the same thing.
Totally forgot about splinter cell. Then I thought how great an espionage game like that would be for Wii U.
Ideas:
Obviously, use the Upad screen and its gyros as 1st person perspective for things like night/thermal/electro vision, when checking out a place.
It can also be used for binoculars or zoom on a scope. You could even use the Upad for a view from the under-the-door snake cam.
When picking locks, you go to the touch screen for a cool minigame, for unlocking the door or safe.
One of the later Splinter Cell games introduced a feature for marking multiple targets for a sequential take-down.
Perhaps you could use the touch screen to tap-mark multiple targets.
That would be fun.

Brilliant ideas! It would be a waste for SC6 not to come to Wii U. The first three came to Gamecube in full glory, DA was downgraded but at least they didn't abandon Nintendo yet.

splinter cell conviction on 360 (if thats the right name) was one of my favourite games of all time, i really want the next splinter cell on wii u
I remember spending hours trying to beat that game on the hardest difficulty took me some time but it was worth it. I'm not one for stealth games but that games was brilliant enough for me to ignore that.
Man I had some funny co-op moments in that game. If they can find a way to maintain the co-op features as well as actually using the wii u screen it will be a day one buy for me.

absolutely, that game was a perfect mix between stealth and action, cos u would plan your attacks strategically but there would be so many moments where you were in a fast paced shoot out!! another masterpiece by ubisoft in my opinion, and well done for completing it on the hardest difficulty
