I remember that rumor. But I heard nothing about cartridges. Just that you could ONLY buy games via the Marketplace.
Anyone remember that rumour that appeared months ago that the 720 won't support a disc drive and instead support a form of cartridge or restrict its users to digital downloads only.
[E3 2012] Nintendo gets it's throne back.

That would be sweet to go back to the good old days of almost no loading times. If they could make it cheap enough it would be a one up on the other disk based systems - also developers wouldn't have to spend money on load screen graphics.
