A very good read of all the known rumors One in particular, that Platinum Games received a visit from the creator of Metroid, trying to get a peak at what they are doing for E3? If that's true, then perhaps Nintendo is working with PG on a new game. Or perhaps, as NWR puts it.... They are making the new Star Fox and Retro something else?

Either way, I I am ubet excited about what Nintendo has in store for us at E3!

Star Fox by Platinum would be absolutely amazing. I'd prefer it over Retro, to be honest.. ^_^

Sakurai didn't create Metroid, he created Smash and Kirby. Sakamoto created Metroid. This raises a different question, though; what's the creator of Smash doing in Platinum games? : D

probably sneaking in trying to take a peek at Metal Gear Rising but got caught and was treated to a delicious steak dinner (this is true by the way).

I dont think I am familair with "Platinum" What have they made? As of now I want Retro making Starfox.
[E3 2012] Nintendo gets it's throne back.

Just google platinum games wiki. You'll find a list on its wiki page. They used to be Clover Studios. They made Okami.

MadWorld, Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Okami are the most notable.


Okami was when they were Clover studios, a studio from Capcom. They also made God's Hand and the Viewtiful Joe games (made they made the ps2 version of the first game) when they were still Clover Studios.

While that is sad...that happened along time ago. He made the old Metroid games, I personally prefer the Metroid Prime games anyway.

Hey isn't that the original creator of Kid Icarus? Because I know Sakurai didn't create the series, he just continued it.
