that is a possibility, maybe they didnt epect such a huge reaction from just saying they're going to begin working on it, that'd they felt they could use some extra hands to make some decent progress.

I think that their doing this was to be so that they could get it out sooner, and have it be way bigger. Having two teams will be very beneficial.

Well, having two groups working on the game means that it's quite possible for the game to come out sooner, but I doubt it, just a little bit. Who knows, though.

Knowing how Nintendo wants their games to be made they are going to take as much time as they need, so Namco Bandai or no Namco Bandai, my guess is a simple no.

I think this does mean we'll get it sooner than previously expected. I've gone from expecting a 3 to 4 year wait to a 2 year wait. Next E3 we will get something, they know it's their number one killer app.

I feel like it probably means we'll have something in time for next E3, and maybe a release early 2014. So yes, it should come out faster with Namco-Bandai on board.

guys, they literally told us in order to put the game out in the time we expect, they need extra help. so yes, we're getting it in two years instead of three or however long

It's probably got a lot to do with all the hardware power. To make a game higher in definition etc. in say the same amount of time as the last game; then they will need X amount of personnel. Basically what Crackkat said.

I hope they do another singleplayer campaign. But way better. I wasn't into the tedious gameplay but those mashup videos were awesome. Samus and Pikachu teamed up! So great! Link and Yoshi was a cool team too. Oh and Snake with Zelda & Peach! So memorable. I must have more.

totally agree man, those cinematics were EPIC, the graphics were gorgeous and the direction was brilliant as well as the story they told

Yes and Pacman I'm sure Pacman will be there. He is in Mariokart arcade.
