peferrably including offline multiplayer but can still have online. I wanted to play with my cousin over at his house so what game would be good for the Ps3 (No CoD) on his birthday

I always loved playing little big planet 2 with my friends. Its fun to try and make a level with them and then I just kill them with explosives.

White Knight Cronicles 2 (it comes with an improved version of the first), Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, Little Big Planet 2, Mod Nation Racers, or Lego Batman 2 would all be safe bets. White Knight Cronicles 2 being the most out there.

If you like sports those are fun games. Fifa and NBA2k are the best sport games to play offline multiplayer.

If you want a fighter Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be good. Great offline multiplayer and online.

NBA 2K12 is a great start. There's multiplayer on that so you can take turns battling online opponents, or just duke it out 1-on-1! It takes a bit of time to get used to, though.

Portal 2 is great. If you don't already own it on Steam this is the 2nd best version. It has a long single player mode, local and online multiplayer. Plus achievements that you might need to replay the game again for. Plus you can cross play online with PC players. You even get the Steam version for free by buying this version. The game has lots of humor and creative puzzles, it's only $30 new at Gamestop, which is worth it. Plus Little Big Planet 1 and 2, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 ( Ultimate also), all the Street Fighter games, The Simpsons Arcade ( PS Store) and Peggle ( PS Store) are all great games with a long single player mode, lots of trophies and great online.
