I think they will be similar in graphical capabilities. The only difference would be the bluray player, but all the online media (netflix) should be similar as well.

I found it interesting that he pointed out that the Cloud Services offered by Microsoft and Sony will make all that hardware you paid for obsolete, and you may as well gone for an OnLive box.

Cloud services are far in the future. Right now it's technically impossible in the us and many other areas around the world. Internets speeds are way to slow, especially in the us. Also most Internet companies set a bandwidth on the connection. Until this changes cloud gaming is impractical. I don't see that changing in 5 years, it's going to take at least ten years

True I guess that the only countries capable of a decent cloud service at the moment are South Korea and Japan

Pretty much, and I don't see Xbox 720 selling well there at all. Also the average global Internet speed is 2-3 Mbps.

True, South Korea is the PC gaming capital of the world, consoles don't really sell that well over there. Although if Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo owned a chain of internet cafes there, they may see a profit :P

If it happens, Microsoft will just by Onlive.

If I'm not mistaken it did mention onlive in the "leaked Xbox 720 documents". Also Sony recently purchase gaikai.
