And I do believe with the Wii U's capabilities, it could have a selection of 2nd party games

Without exclusives no one who isnt a Nintendo fan boy (like ourselves:3) will buy the thing just because they don't care about the first party exclusives enough. There are alot of them out there, I assure you.

I say it doesn't make you one. I believe people have different taste and I don't see exclusives hindering any console. People will buy what they like. Nintendo's first party games are great for some and boring to others. Some people only like third party games. I just think a good mixture makes any console a great one. I would like to see a console generation with even amount of genres on a system. That way people don't have to worry about not having anything to play.
