I think that's really cool. The game mechanics seem interesting, and the fact that the same company made them 26 years ago... AND nobody tried to replicate them, is definetly unexpected. Even though nobody tried to replicate them, I'm confident that it'll work well.

Very cool.
I think it's the concept that was unique. the mechanics at the time were nothing to really speak of, but the idea and the concept of what you were doing with inventory while not being afforded a "pause" was unique.
As far as the machanics, I believe it has literally never been possible before the Wii U, with its dual screen , one mobile, one stationary setup.
I think a lot of folks are going to wake up to the possibilities of what they can do now.
Ubisoft has always been a bit "different" and this is being different the right way. LOL

When I first heard about ZombiU, I instantly remembered Zombi. It was weird, because I'd just been watching a video about it before the E3 announcement of ZombiU.

zombiU still sounds funny, but as long as you can explain or show off to people that its a 26 year old sequel to zombi, it actually sounds pretty good
