It seems like 3 out of 5. Games in a store is a crappy no one would buy this game, how do they keep getting published, does anyone else think it is ridiculous??? Nintendo has the lowest number of shovel ware, but hey also have the strictest 3rd party guidelines and the least amount of games.

You know, my older brother and I have discussed this to no end.
We both find it simply...well, stupid, that if you're going to take the time and spend so much in resources just to make a game, how does it end up suckign? With all the many millions of dollars that're pumped into a game, how do they screw it up along the way?
Answer: I have no blinkin idea. It seems that a great deal of developers just don't care about the quality of their game, and just hope that some idiotic parent who doesn't do their research decides that their kids will like it.

yes I do mean that, and the ps2 had like a trillion games and only 100 of them were goodI hope you really mean within their own titles.
Because the DS and the Wii have the biggest shovelware libraries of all time.

It is easier to make a bad game, than to make a good game. Plus it can actually be profitable to release a bad game if it didn't cost that much to produce. It is one of the biggest flaws of the industry and, will always be the case.

Every game publisher needs to take a look at Zynga and copy them... they are the perfect example of the perfect way games should be

really, it seems as long as you stick with the right crowd of publishers, games are getting sweeter, even f2p
but i guess when the light side of the gaming industry increases, so does the dark side

These consoles are on the last leg of their life cycles so nothing but garbage is going to come out until the next gen consoles. Even PC will suffer somewhat until the new consoles come. Sucks but it is true. History lesson right there for the young ones haha

Shovelware is hitting the 3DS too.
PS3 and 360 have less shovelware though, publishers need to stop with garbage games like this on Nintendo's consoles. We know Activision is capable of making good games ( Guitar Hero, CoD, Skylanders). So they should be making stuff that is quality gaming, not trash bin games like you see above.
