Who needs a television when all the fun can be had on the controller?
I guess it depends on what I want to look at. Sometimes I might want to look at the big screen or vice versa.

Thats where Asymmetric Gameplay comes in.

Road trips... I'm from Montreal (Canada) and I often go to Michigan for family. Its a good 9 hours on road so this is welcome for me.you can use the controller as a screen, instead of the TV? it's good to a certain extent but why would you want to do that, its too small. i want to be able to play games on the gamepad only and use it as the controller at the same time
i understand it would be difficult for games that originally had a wiimote and nunchuck to play, but what about games that used the classic controller? those games would be able to be played on the controller, as a screen and controller at the same time.

but the whole console is needed to play the games?. so you'd have to plug in the wiiu. Which could be awkward, Although if your somewhere were someone is using the TV it could be used. Although I still want a gamepad only function.Road trips... I'm from Montreal (Canada) and I often go to Michigan for family. Its a good 9 hours on road so this is welcome for me.

There are electrical outlet converters for the car. So you could plug the Wii U there. They cost 20-30$but the whole console is needed to play the games?. so you'd have to plug in the wiiu.

I'm not sure the Wii U isn't out yet but I'll take an educated guess. You plug in an Ipad it drains a bit less than a laptop. The Wii U has power around a laptop so it can't be that much.i mean won't it drain the battery quicker? how long does it last?
