Depends on the game, but I find it more fun to play with friends.

I like to play with friends but more often than not on Nintendo consoles I find myself playing alone :/

Also shouldn't this be in general gaming? (don't kill me)

Playing with friends is fun, but I normally play by myself on the Wii. Either way is good.

Playing alone draw me more into the game. Playing with Friends is fun though.

I wouldn't mind playing with friends with two wii u controllers as long as buying another one isn't too expensive :(

It depends, I usually don't do as good around friends, but it makes it more fun. Really just matters what game I'm playing.

I play with friends any time I can (which is less often than I like)... especially when co-op is available. On the Wii there just wasn't much available in this area, but the WiiU looks to have a strong focus on connected play. Drop-in/out co-op seems to be quickly becoming the new industry standard for major releases, and I like the trend.

I need a good mix of both. I'm too lazy to go anywhere, so if I play with friends, it's usually online, but it doesn't beat playing in the same room. (Think GoldenEye 64)

When i was younger i used to play with friends more often but now i prefer having the whole screen and playing against more people online, so i prefer playing alone; even though technically playing against people online isn't alone.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

With this generation of gaming, the local co-op gameplay really was killed because of all of the exclusive online only multiplayer that developers on certain consoles to be going. Before this generation, I would go to my friend's house and vice-a-verse and we'd play games together all the time, it was wicked fun. Too bad that all changed and now we just play together on the PC sometimes and sometimes in person.

So, yeah I prefer playing with friends more than I do playing alone, although it does depend on the game and whether it has a multiplayer mode or not, no one really likes to just watch their friend play through a single-player game while you sit back and watch them play it.

Friends. Even if it''s one player, I get to banter and make everyone laugh. I have a hard time doing that alone. :P
Furthermore, If the other peoson isn't very good at the game, I can give them a boost, and ask them the right questions to get them pointed in the right directions. E.g. "Maybe we should find the key instead of wacking the door with the sword? I don't think the door is going to break that way...."
to bad I don't have many freinds......
