i had and an idea.
what if there was one exclusive pikmin that can only be obtained buy getting a special NFC Nintendo pikmin figure from somewhere like club Nintendo or a pre order bonus for the game.
and for those who missed it a exclusive for a Nintendo online shop or something like that.
there are so many things that could be done with this game and the NFC feature.

What would it do, randomly generate the exclusive pikmin across the map to round-up? THAT would be awesome for the NFC capabilities.
I am the foot. I do not like you. You smother me with socks and shoes, then step on me thousands of times a day.

We foot will rebel one day.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect :)

Buying stuff to get exclusive content in a game is stupid, and its dumb, and its stupid. So they should never do it.

It would be alright but the Pikmin must not be needed in the game. I could be like a fiery pikmin or a paralysing pikmin that...well you know.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

I've been thinking they should sell NFC toys with happy meals and such. Get extra levels in Nintendoland, assuming it's a pack-in. Buy a happy meal, get a Nintendo toy.... but also an epic feature you can't access without a Wii U. I'll betcha if they do that it'll generate a lot of interest with the little kid crowd, and could possibly help sell games like Pikimin and Rayman to more then just niche gamers.

Maybe pellet toys that have the pellets pop up near their respective onions.

I must be the only person who actually likes the ideal of buying NFC toys to use in game. I also don't think it warrants the amount of criticism it gets. Developers wouldn't make you buy them to play the game or enjoy it...its more for people like me who like collecting things and I would get a bonus add in to a specific game...they won't be meant to make the game any easier, but it would be cool to have something like playing game x and if you buy figure x you can play as that character. I love the NFC possibilities and I'm sure lots of other feel the same way.
