It seems like B will be select and A will be to go back.

That's gonna be a bit awkward. I do it on Xbox and PS3 but on a Nintendo console I am used to pressing A to select things.

THANK EVERYTHING! Seriously it is annoying to play a 3DS game and then going to play my PS3 to have things swapped.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

My preference still remains that the bottom-most button is used for confirming, and that the rightmost button be for backing out.

This is more or less that my thumbs rest on the leftmost button, with the middle of it on the bottom-most in it's typical resting position.

But it goes to show that developers who don't allow custom key setups (where you set every button to an action), as opposed to pre-determined setups (control schemes), are being lazy.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I think this might be just for that game (for now).

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

They seem to have configured them like it's done in Japan where the input commands for A and B are reversed on consoles and hand helds. In this case even the actual buttons seem to have been reversed on the game pad itself.

I've been playing my PS3 for the past year, so this will not bother me.

Some 3DS/DS games do this too. Seems stupid to me, I think some devs are just too lazy to swap the controls for A and B around and think that the bottom-most button must always equal A.

Does this really Matter that much, it makes it easier to switch between the wii u controller and the dualshocks or Xbox controller. I think this is good for Nintendo.

I actually use the o button as confirm and x as cancel on my ps system (meaning ps1 to ps3 and psp to vita),the same can be said for my xbox an xbox360 with B as confirm and A as cancel.I'm just backwards like that. Posted Image
