When i read an article it said next gen so either hideo kojima is waiting for 720 and ps4 or its coming to wii uwhat system is this coming too? because of this is gameplay, i really doubt a ps3 or 360 could even touch the shaders in this game.

Also, anyone else think the kid in the cage looks very eerily like a young Solid Snake?

My estimate is that they're planning a release on PS3 and 360 as the trailer stated, but also on PC and as a next-gen launch title. A Wii U version is possible, but I find it much more likely that Kojipro/Konami will want to capitalize on the launch of either PS4, Xbox 720 or both in late 2013 by having MGS:GZ as a launch title. The PS360 version will very probably be toned down to some degree, and run at lower resolution and framerate.

Maybe the objective of this mission is for Big Boss to free and take Solid Snake then tutor him later.

At the end of the trailer after the little credits bit, there's logos for PS3, Xbox 360, PSN and Xbox Live.
Also I'm almost certain that a PC version is at least being considered, Kojima Productions was openly recruiting staff "experienced in PC development" back at GDC '12 for a new MGS game. They wouldn't be doing that for nothing.

I doubt this is running on current hardware. im thinking high spec PC. i never played a MSG game so could care less if Wii U gets this.
Surprisingly Hideo Kojima confirmed that it's running on a PC with similar specs to the PS3 and that the PS3 version will look exactly like the demo they showed. Not sure how the PS3 let alone Xbox 360 will handle this though...

Sidenote this further proves that graphics can still be vastly improved on.

Fingers crossed, because that'd be the only way I could play it...
Anyway, I'm pretty much already hooked, and that video only showed a child, a burnt guy, Naked Snake, and XOF!
