I have been looking all over the internet for a pair of good headphones that i can use both for gaming and listening to music or whatever on my laptop. I have been interested in a set of Dr. Dre headphones however there fragile build and expegasus generatorve price have been a little off putting.
Since i don't understand sound specs i just want to know what you guys would suggest i get.
I would like a set of headphones that:
*Don't exceed to far from $220
*Resonably sterdy build (can take a few knocks and bends)
*Great quality sound for what im expecting to pay for
*Mic(doesn't matter so much but would be nice)
*Noise cancelling (also not so important)
I don't personally care about having fancy lights illimanating from them.
Anyway thanks for your help
This is where it ends

I would steer clear from any product that involves Beats. It's kinda the same premise of the dummies who buy Alienware computers and laptops- you're paying more for the name than you are for the performance.
If you're looking for gaming headphones, I would also suggest steering clear from Turtle Beach. It's another case of paying for the name rather than performance.

If you want GREAT performance, I recommend the Astro A40, they're $249.99 but WELL worth it, I love using them on my Xbox and can't wait to use them on my Wii U. The A30's are $199.99 but below the A40 level, and the brand new A50 are $299.99 BUT they have a SIGNIFICANT JUMP over A40 and worth the price. I wanna get them but I'll just stick with my A40's so I can save up for the Wii U
