So, I really never liked the wii remotes and since we can not get a second gamepad for a while, will the wii u pro controller work for every game or do you think it only works with some games? I would like some sort of 2nd controller for when I play with my friends.

It will only work with a game if a dev programs the game to accept it as an input device. I think most games will end up supporting it though.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

I thought I read somewhere that Nintendo made all controller types mandatory for developers to include

Of course it is optional for the developers.

I think a lot of games will support it..the only ones which won't would be games that have no benefit from it.

My question is if the controller has any motion devices at all. I know its a pro controller and its trying to get away from motion controls but it kind of limits it otherwise.

Most games should be able to use it. My hands would feel a bit more comfortable with the pro controller.

I believe its just game base. If the game xan use the wii u pad then the pro would work. But stuff like just dance and probably mario party will be wii mote mainly.
Id lije to try out the pro tho because the stick are place differenly.
Im use to ps3 where there close together @ the bottom. Then the xbox is offset one on top an other on bottom.
But this wii u pro is both sticks up top.
It will take.some getting usr to.

They'll probably allow it, if I'm not mistaken you can use a Wii remote for it.

The Wii Mote is perfect for a 2D side scrolling mario game. I want 2 pro controllers for 2K13 for sure tho since I'm not gonna get that game for my PS3

Ann gotcha. Thanks. Really hoping most games will be compatible with the pro controller......not huge on all the motion sensor stuff.......but the gameplay looks legit.
